El 9 de junio de 1952, el meteorito Abee cayó en Alberta, Canadá, a las 11:05 pm de la noche.
La piedra espacial pesaba casi 326 libras y se recuperó de un cráter de 6 pies de profundidad en un campo de trigo cuando se encontró cinco días después. Una parte se exhibe en el Museo Americano de Historia Natural de Nueva York.
Abee está clasificado como condrita enstatita con tipo petrológico 4. Es el único tipo en el mundo de este meteorito específico. Los científicos creen que meteoritos como Abee se formaron cerca del sol, donde contendría poca o nada de agua, según el museo.
